Events Brief

The third CHRO Neurodiversity Roundtable, hosted by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) at the Leo Moggie Convention Centre, marked a significant milestone with the official launch of the Neurodiversity Workstream. Bringing together senior HR and business leaders, the session advanced the shared vision of establishing a neuroinclusive workforce ecosystem in Malaysia by 2030. Building on the momentum of previous engagements, this roundtable focused on translating strategic aspirations into actionable pathways, with participants engaging in deep dialogues on embedding neurodiversity into leadership practices, organisational culture and long-term talent strategies.

The discussions underscored the evolution of the CHRO Neurodiversity Network from an informal forum into a formalised structure, uniting leaders under a collective mission to shape inclusive ecosystems and drive systemic change. The National Human Resource Centre (NHRC) contributed to solution ideation, best practice sharing and targeted brainstorming to address workplace stigma, enhance inclusive hiring and ensure the sustainable integration of neurodivergent talent into the broader employment landscape.

Reinforcing this momentum, leading organisations including the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), PETRONAS, Ernst & Young (EY), Social Security Organisation (SOCSO), TalentCorp, Bank Negara Malaysia, RHB, MBSB Bank and Gamuda Berhad pledged their continued commitment to championing the neurodiversity agenda. Their support spans from delivering on-ground initiatives to offering technical expertise, signalling strong cross-sector collaboration. Looking ahead, the initiative seeks to raise awareness and strengthen readiness across industries for inclusive employment anchored by leadership accountability, transparent collaboration and a united pursuit of equity through systemic change.
