Mr. Zahid Ismail assumes the role of Director General at the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), having been appointed as its ninth Director General on 1st  October 2023. Throughout his tenure, he has actively contributed to MPC’s endeavors, delivering numerous paper presentations, participating as a panelist, and producing articles and research findings for both domestic and international publications. Additionally, he has chaired conferences on national and international platforms.

He plays an integral role in various regional programs, notably within ASEAN, APEC, OECD, and Commonwealth countries. With a wealth of experience in national productivity and competitiveness enhancement, he engages proactively in policy formulation and advises ministries and stakeholders on strategies to optimize industry and country productivity and competitiveness, both domestically and on the global stage.
